My go to knife is still my Wusthof chef's knife, but if I had to buy a paring, filleting, bread or utility knife again, I'd probably get another Ikea knife. I like to have 1-2 knives that I'm "one" with. After that, I'm happy as long as they're sharp. And Ikea knives have served that purpose very well.
